Gratuitous sections in article

I do not believe that these Montreal history sections belong in this article, @Steam5:, @UnitedStatesian:, @Zak lef::

1 Demography there is an article for that: Demographics of Montreal. Large, seemingly misplaced section.
2 Legal framework content has nothing to do with COVID-19 pandemic in Montreal. Large, seemingly misplaced section, perhaps someone had meant to add them to a different article.
7.5.2.2 Selective collection of recyclable materials 3 paragraphs, 95%+ devoid of any relevance to topic.

I think this article is getting needlessly long with too much detailed information that often needs to be cleaned up for grammar. @Zak lef: Could you try to add only the most pertinent information in the future? Nsophiay (talk) 04:12, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you are right, I will summarize some parts better User:Zak lef

Majority of references are in French

While the article is referenced properly, my issue is that a majority of the sources are in French. There are English sources, I'm sure, that speak of the same subject. Callmemirela 🍁 talk 20:20, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
