Rohit Sharma is an Indian cricketer and a right-handed top order batsman.[1] He has made 23 centuries in international cricket—18 in One Day Internationals (ODI), 3 in Test cricket and 3 in T20I cricket—as of July 2018.

Rohit made his ODI debut against Ireland in June 2007. He scored his first century in 2010 when he made 114 against the Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. He made his Test cricket debut against the West Indies in 2013 and scored his first Test century, thus became the 14th Indian to score his century in debut test match.[2] He made back to back centuries in that series and won man of the series.[3]

His highest score of 264, which is an all-time record in ODIs as of December 2017, was made against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, in November 2014.[4] In December 2017, he became the first player to score three double centuries in ODIs when he scored 208 not out against the same team.

On 2 October 2015 Rohit Sharma became the second Indian to make a century in T20I cricket.[5] He was the first batsman for India to score three centuries in T20Is.[6]
