  - The Israeli Defense Forces notifies the United Nations that the entire 1.1-million Palestinians living north of Wadi Gaza in the Gaza Strip, has been ordered to relocate to Southern Gaza within 24 hours, ahead of an expected ground invasion. (Times of Israel) (Reuters)

Islamic terrorism in Europe
- A teacher is killed and two others are seriously wounded in a mass stabbing at a school in Arras, France. The attacker, heard shouting "Allahu akbar" during the attack, was arrested by police. (BBC News)
