Direction

Ramesh Aravind's first two directorial ventures, Rama Shama Bhama and Sathyavaan Savithri, were comedies and had a fair degree of success at the box office. His third directorial venture, Accident, was a critically acclaimed thriller that, however, failed to entice the audience. His next directorial venture, Venkata in Sankata, was released in 2009 and it went on to become a super hit movie.

Writer

Hoomale, a National Award winning movie, directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, is based on the story written by Ramesh. Amrithadhare too had the story by Ramesh. He also wrote the story and screenplay for this third directorial venture Accident, a suspense thriller which got a lot of critical appreciation.[3]

Umesh who was introduced as a child artist in the fifties' classical Kannada film Makkala Rajya is doing a special role in the film. I think this film will be memorable in my career' says Umesh. Sharmila Mandre, model Anusha and a new actress Meghana Mudhiyan are the heroines. Another well known Tulu theatre artist Devadas Kappikad plays an important role in the film.
