Nationality

Could someone please change the flag at the top to Spain as it clearly notes that he was born in Madrid, Spain? Lee 15:50 16, October 2007 (UTC)

Whilst he was born in Spain, he is not Spanish, he is American. He was born to American parents, in Madrid, Spain, whilst his father was stationed there with the US Airforce. Kane defeated Chris Benoit at a house show in 2004 to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Unlike Paul London & Brian Kendrick's title win, Kane's was disallowed because it was a World Championship. Maksed Kane vs. Unmasked Kane

Are they they same person? I know for a Fact, the un-masked Kane is not the real Kane, Kane owns a gym in my hometown of Sevierville, Tn, Family Fitness, I will not give out his full name, but his first name is Scott, he wore a mask for years because he did not like wrestling all that much, he kept it that way so he could be replaced when he wanted to quit. I see him time to time in my store purchasing fishing supplies, he still has long hair, and still is fit. So the un-masked Kane is a fake and it kinda urks me they put Scott's stats in there to reflect well for Jacob Glenn. A few days ago when I visited the page on GLEN JACOB, I saw his original height was given that is 6'8" and also the original weight. But why it is has been removed now?

ECW Champion

Kane winning the ECW Championship at WrestleMania XXIV was an amazing acomplishment. However I clearly remember Michael Cole saying "both Undertaker and Kane walked out of WrestleMania as a world champion." According to Pro Wrestling Illustrated the ECW Championship is not a recognized world championship. I think the only reason it isn't recognized as a world championship is because its prestige has dropped since coming out of retirement and the only reason I think its prestige has dropped is because there are no other championships on the ECW brand. Would anyone be able to find out if any other championships are joining the ECW brand soon? Not that this kind of discussion is allowed on Wikipedia talk pages, I think it may be because WWE themselves consider the ECW Championship to be a mid-card title, like the Intercontinental and US titles. I've seen no official confirmations though. --Kaizer13 (talk) 20:47, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

The ECW title is regarded as a world title by World Wrestling Entertainment, but PWI who "officially" declare whether a title or not is a world title hasn't reinstated world title status because it isn't defended abroad enough, its normally only contended in the USA. Unless it is a worked shoot, the answer is yes. The most recent worked shoot to occur in WWE was "Rowdy" Roddy Piper's mention of Santino Marella being arrested on charges of Driving Under The Influence. Aside from that, roughly 99% of the things which occur in WWE are storylines. Things that occur in the WWE outside of the normal storyline typically end up as storylines one way or another. Jacobs divorced Maurisa in 2005. Jacobs is now married to Rica also known as Jopay. Rica is an Orchestra Conductor in California, She used to a dancer. They met at the backstage of Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines with her twin sister Ria. They have a son, Dustin Blake Jacobs (2007). Rica is expecting two baby girls this year.

Glen Jacobs was born on April 26, 1968, in Madrid Spain. He was trained by Ray Candy and Dean Malenko. He made his pro debut in either 1993 or 1994. The early part of his career was marred by horrible gimmicks including the Christmas Creature (a wrestling Christmas tree), Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS, and Fake Diesel. Despite rumors and story lines, he is not related to the Undertaker or Paul Bearer, never married Lita, knew a Katie Vick, and only Glen Jacobs played the part of Kane. The Secret Revealed: After several months of threatening the Undertaker about a dark secret, Paul Bearer let the world know that Undertaker killed his family in a fire but his brother was still alive. At the first Hell in a Cell match, Kane made his debut by costing Undertaker a match with Shawn Michaels. Undertaker refused to fight Kane until he was burnt alive in a coffin at Royal Rumble 98. The Never Ending Feud: Kane and Taker fought for the first time at Wrestlemania 14. Prior to this match, Kane attacked Pete Rose for the first of 3 consecutive WrestleMania attacks on Pete. The Kane vs. Undertaker feud has been on-and-off since. Sometimes the Undertaker is the bad guy and sometimes Kane was the bad guy. They seem to turn on one another and become friends again on a regular basis. What is Continuity?: When Kane appeared, he wore a mask and had sleeves to hide his disfigurement from the fire. He also was unable to speak without aid of a voice box. Today, Kane wrestles without a mask or shirt on and can speak. In addition, he used to be dim-witted and continually threatened with being put in a mental asylum. Details of his physical and mental healing have never been revealed. Feuds With Triple H and Shane McMahon : In late 2002, Triple H revealed that Kane murdered his ex-girlfriend Katie Vick. A few months later, Triple H beat Kane in a match where he had to unmask. Kane went insane and started to set people on fire and even beat up Linda McMahon. Her son, Shane, came to her rescue in one of the worst written feuds ever. Lowlights included Shane getting a car battery attached to his testicles and Kane falling into a burning dumpster and being unmarked the next week. A Bizarre Love Triangle: Lita slept with Kane to keep him from beating up her boyfriend Matt Hardy. He wound up getting her pregnant and won her hand in marriage by beating Matt. A few weeks later, Gene Snitsky caused Lita to have a miscarriage. This event seemed to bring them closer together, but Lita wound up being with Edge when details of their real-life relationship caused Matt Hardy to be fired. Kane, The Big Show, and May 19: These giants were brought together by a Taboo Tuesday vote. That night they won the tag team titles. Combined, they are almost 14 feet tall and weigh close to 1,000 pounds. The tag team broke up because Kane went insane when he heard the words May 19, which is the release date of his first movie, See No Evil. That movie, while not a critical success, has proven to be a commercial success.
