I wasn't on the AfD for this article (I watchlist Daly City, California, and saw it when it closed), but I think a better target may be the specific neighborhood that is the subject of the book, Westlake, Daly City, California, rather than the article on the entire city. Any objections? I'm not going to unilaterally diverge from the outcome of a discussion, obviously.
TJRC, There is a sourced mention of the book at Daly City, California#Neighborhoods, whereas (at the time of writing) the book is not mentioned in the contents of the Westlake, Daly City, California article (it was only included in the references). If you would expand the Westlake article, such that it contains a sourced mention of the book that is more in-depth that what we currently have at Daly City, California#Neighborhoods, I would support such a retarget.
