Alumni of the University of Hull

Did she not study at the University of Hull? If so, she should go in the category called "Alumni of the University of Hull". Vorbee (talk) 21:34, 26 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

born in August?

Her date of birth is cited as August 1983, but the reference seems to link to page that lists her birth under "September 1983" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.127.91.210 (talk) 23:01, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it does. More than that, we shouldn't be listing any date of birth based on this because of WP:BLPPRIVACY—it's not clear Beaumont wants any part of her DOB to be public. I've removed it entirely. I suppose by now I shouldn't be surprised at the frequency with which we get DOBs wrong, but I still don't know where so many people get all these wrong dates from... — Bilorv (talk) 23:04, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

Born and brought up in Hull. Went to Paisley Street School and then Kelvin Hall. Was born in De-La- Pole Avenue. Now 67 so I am open for talks about what it was like to grow up in Hull. Boy, I have some tells to tell especially to do with Tom Courtney and Maureen Lipman.

Just thought I did do 2A02:C7E:4D1E:2400:59E2:A854:1867:DA1C (talk) 20:21, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. This talk page is about discussing improvements to the encyclopedia article Lucy Beaumont (comedian), and all the facts in the article need to be verifiable in some reliable source. If you want to talk about your personal experiences in Hull, you should do this on a different website. — Bilorv (talk) 21:12, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Daughter name

On Jon Richardsons wiki it says her name is Elsie Louise. On this one is says Elsie Josephine.

Maybe just label her Elsie if it's unknown? 2A00:23C7:8084:D201:A8B3:6915:49B4:CD5D (talk) 03:12, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The source given did indeed say "Elsie Josephine", but this one (also cited) says "Elsie Louise". Of the two sources given at Jon Richardson (comedian), one doesn't mention a name and the other is an hour-long podcast episode that I am not listening to. For now I've gone with "Elsie Louise". — Bilorv (talk) 21:35, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not diabetic

For the record, the repeated addition of statements that Lucy Beaumont does not have diabetes was spurred by her appearance on the 5 January 2024 installment of Would I Lie to You?, wherein she recounted the story behind this edit. —David Levy 23:59, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
