The article is going back and forth between having "Metroidvania" as a genre tag and not. @Waxworker is removing it with the note "a reliable source needs to call it a metroidvania". I am confused as to why this specifically needs a reliable source even though other users like @Max Bonderulez and @RealLifeWater believe it an apparent fact/definitionally true of the game.
The term Metroidvania was not popularized until after the game's launch and once reviews were out. Who/what is considered a reliable source on Metroidvanias that the above users or myself could use in this case? It is a metroidvania genre game. CuddleChamp (talk) 15:39, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
