@ Launchballer I am going to overule this and agree with Z1720 that we should accept it as a QPQ given that 2x2leax did the work of getting that hook over into the approved side of a DYK. The whole point of QPQ is to clear the backlog, and 2x2 did the work of sheperding another person's hook nomination past the finish line. Given that 2x2leax is just barely past the five DYK mark, I would say this counts as a good faith attempt at a first QPQ. Let's not clog up DYK by being pedantic over QPQ rules, and let a proper review of this nom go forward so we can get it cleared.4meter4 (talk) 16:45, 3 April 2024 (UTC)

@2x2leax: Created on the 13th and nominated within seven days and the article is 2751 characters so it is long enough. The QPQ is done, the tone of the article is neutral and the hook is interesting.

1. Y First, the hook fact is cited and in the lead. It is best practice to use the lead as a summary/introduction and then cite that material in the body. it is not a Disqualifier the way you did it.
2. N Second, there is a citation needed tag which needs attention.
3. Y Earwig does not alert to issues but there are foreign language sources.

Thank you for the ping AirshipJungleman29. Not yet. I see the new source came with a new cause of death - we went from tuberculosis to heart attack. But the tag was removed even though this sentence remains unsupported, "he attempted to flee to the port of Callao, but was later imprisoned and put on trial" I will tag it. 2x2leax ping me if you can fix this.
