2021 Israel–Palestine crisis[edit]

SoaringLL, in what way was Iran involved in this conflict? Iran isn't mentioned in the article itself. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 14:07, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hamas and specially Islamic Jihad are Iran's proxies in Gaza. They receive funding, weapons and training from Iran. It's no secret.--SoaringLL (talk) 01:17, 30 May 2021 (UTC) See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/יניב_הורון[reply]
SoaringLL, that is true, but not every conflict between Israel and the Gaza groups are part of the proxy war. The reason the 2014 conflict and the 2008 to 2009 Gaza conflict is included is because Iran was found to have been directly involved such as the Israeli army finding weapons shipped from Iran, or the groups had direct contact with Iran during the course of the conflict. However, this conflict in May doesn't have Iranian involvement regardless of Iran's support for Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc... Hence why the 2021 Israel–Palestine crisis should be removed from this template. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 14:19, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
