Maps

Why are you switching the maps? It's essentially the same (though if I say so myself mine are slightly more aesthetically pleasing ;)) and your version seems to only remove Nagorno-Karabakh, which I think is important to illustrate, especially for the rayons in that region. --Golbez 20:48, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Karabakh is indeed part of Azerbaijan, but it's a special part that needs to be shown. After all, your maps still include the dotted line, which offers no context. And what do you mean about Georgia? --Golbez 20:55, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have actually wanted to do some maps of Georgia, and Abkhazia in specific. I may get on that. --Golbez 21:08, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Azerbaijan Unit Crest2.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Azerbaijan Unit Crest2.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:52, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Şuşa mosque.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Şuşa mosque.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:42, 14 October 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Alex Spade 13:42, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Karabakh, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. VartanM (talk) 01:53, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, VartanM. Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan (region in Azerbaijan), that reason i deleted "Armenian geo stub". Karabakh is "Azerbaijani geo stub" and not Armenian. Thank you also--Baki66 (talk) 01:32, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help

Hi Baki66. The user Friejose needs someone to help out on the Azerbaijan football pages. Just wondering if you know someone who can do that. Thank you. Gülməmməd Talk 18:46, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 14:02, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I understand, but you were also edit warring to some extent. He was blocked for 48 hours for doing such. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 19:34, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

vandalism on minkend and khankendi

please stop vandalising wiki pages in acts of terror. regards.Khojalizer (talk) 15:53, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

it is not vandalism [1]! My version is correct! It must be the same map as Shusha, Agdam and other.

Thanks

Re: Hi

I left a note at his talk page. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 21:56, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't really look like vandalism to me, and since I'm not familiar with the subject, it would be inappropriate of me to judge that edit. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 22:32, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Ballıca, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SkyBonTalk\Contributions 20:14, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See Talk:Noragyukh (Nagorno-Karabakh), it is not renamed to Təzəbinə. Stepatakert is not renamed to Khankendy. What I must discuss? Gragg (talk) 21:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose, at their own discretion, sanctions on any editor working on pages broadly related to Armenia-Azerbaijan and related ethnic conflicts if the editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. The committee's full decision can be read at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2#Final decision.  Sandstein  05:25, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In particular, please do not edit-war about the names of articles or of names within articles, or you may be restricted from moving or editing pages.  Sandstein  05:28, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
