Re: Revert

When you revert with a sentence such as "Please; read the Talk"[1] - then there is a requirement for you to actually be able to demonstrate a consensus for that edit (if it is a new edit - such as this was), or generate a consensus for this change. Since no such consensus is present in the actual talk thread[2], then i do not know what you are referring to.... --Kim D. Petersen 17:35, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:What_is_consensus?#Not_unanimity Cloudjpk (talk) 17:43, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You still have to demonstrate consensus, and no such is present. All you've done on that thread is claim (paraphrased)"My source trumps all of your sources ... because!". And you may also want to read WP:BRD, since you appear to be neglecting the D part. --Kim D. Petersen 18:01, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't attribute claims to me I never made. Thanks for the references. Cloudjpk (talk) 18:40, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please learn how to indent. Your comments on talk pages are almost unreadable because you don't indent when answering a comment. Please see WP:TPG#YES ("Keep the layout clear"), which will lead you to WP:INDENT. --Kim D. Petersen 22:44, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, how's that? Cloudjpk (talk) 23:12, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Much better - thank you :) --Kim D. Petersen 23:26, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You bet :) (Hey this is fun :) Cloudjpk (talk) 23:33, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please indent your comments

Your comments on the e-cigarette are hard to follow. The indentation, or rather lack of indentation makes the flow of the discussion hard to follow when you reply. Please indent your comments WP:THREAD. Thanks. AlbinoFerret (talk) 22:53, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK! Cloudjpk (talk) 23:13, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

edit warring at Electronic cigarette

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Electronic cigarette. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please discuss on Talk page instead. Mihaister (talk) 21:33, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Thanks Cloudjpk (talk) 21:36, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please revert your last edit and join the discussion on the Talk page. Thanks. Mihaister (talk) 21:39, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I invite you do to the same. Cloudjpk (talk) 22:08, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ultrafine particle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Circulation. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:04, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

edits to E-cigarette citing consensus

I invite you to explain how "mist" has consensus, there is a talk page section on this topic, created before your edit. AlbinoFerret 01:32, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Electronic cigarette shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. General Sanctions: Electronic Cigarettes.

Please read this notification carefully:
A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to electronic cigarettes.
The details of these sanctions are described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

This message is informational only and does not imply misconduct regarding your contributions to date.
