*Well, this is unfortunate. Since I first noticed your questionable RFD nominations for redirects in the File: namespace about 3 or so years ago, I had hoped that you would have improved your judgement calls on when a File: namespace redirect should be deleted, but instead, it seems that you have found a way to almost game the system by getting leftover redirects speedy deleted instead of taking them to RFD ... which with your nominations, has usually resulted in "Keep". After reading [[Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion#Does G6 apply to redirects created via page move in the file namespace?]] (which I highly recommend you continue participating in unless another more dire discussion appears), I decided to go here and leave you a related message, just to find this section already existing. At this point, I'm thinking that you probably need to request your File Mover user right be revoked and then prove your ability to understand the responsibilities of having that right by practicing using {{Tl|Rename media}} for file move requests. I mean, obviously, it's your call, but I think I have enough knowledge of your past File: namespace edits on RFD to file a [[WP:ANI]] report. Your call. Poster

Add new poster to Kodambakkam (film). The current one has Indiaglitz written on it. DareshMohan (talk) 23:28, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don't even think that's a poster, but a wallpaper. Got access to a DVD/VCD? Kailash29792 (talk) 11:38, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, but thanks for changing it. Karnaa, Care of Footpath, and Zamana (2010 film) need HQ posters. DareshMohan (talk) 01:37, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sillunu Oru Kaadhal poster currently says Jillendru Oru Kadhal. DareshMohan (talk) 02:51, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Shine Tom Chacko

He is in Venghai? Couldn't find much sources to support this. Don't think he is in the end credits either. DareshMohan (talk) 00:51, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Best removed, keep only credited/sourced actors. Kailash29792 (talk) 02:46, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, can't believe this IP from 2020's false edit lasted two years. Also wish the news to stop blindly copying info from Wikipedia. DareshMohan (talk) 03:28, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

Could you find anything from old newspapers for Ele, My Friend and add it here. This film is from the 90s and has a predominately Indian cast, so it might be in The New Indian Express. Also, can you find the Deccan Chronicle review for White Rainbow (it is in the pdf, but a link is better)? The review is titled "Powerful Portrayals Mark This Film" Deccan Chronicle 16 July 2006. DareshMohan (talk) 00:06, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Hindu sources

I don't have access to this, so can you search The Hindu archives and add sources to Kanninum Kannadikkum and War and Love. DareshMohan (talk) 02:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wayback Machine [1] and Ghostarchive [2] can archive content from The Hindu while bypassing paywalls. Did you find the article(s) you wanted? Kailash29792 (talk) 02:33, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, because The Hindu Search Bar used to go back to the early 2000s, but now only goes back to 2009. Also, could you rename Suryavamsam (1997 film) to Surya Vamsam (1997 film). The film's title uses a space on the poster and the film and here and here. DareshMohan (talk) 03:05, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As you noted, the search bar no longer works for articles published before 2009. This might have the article you're searching for, but it looks like a needle in a haystack. Kailash29792 (talk) 03:50, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
For the article The Don (2006 film), the review might be under here, but there are so many articles (I think they are grouped by state/city). DareshMohan (talk) 04:18, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't find reviews for War and Love, but this, this and this seem insightful. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:58, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The following articles desperately need sources (full of database sites, despite well written): Be-Lagaam, Agni Theertham, Pesuvoma, Ninaivellam Nee, Pudhusu Kanna Pudhusu, Thottu Sellum Thendrale, Vetri Mugam, Iru Nadhigal, Vaikarai Pookkal, Veettukulle Thiruvizha, Pokkiri Thambi, Vadakku Vaasal, and Mudhal Aasai. The films post-2000 should at least have some sources.
Could you find any additional reliable sources for Boys and Girls Tamil film starring Govinda's son? There is a soundtrack label here and the Telugu dub here. DareshMohan (talk) 19:44, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please find the source of this. Couldn't find it. DareshMohan (talk) 21:05, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here you go. Kailash29792 (talk) 03:06, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can you find this source, the content is here? (thank you so much - the page got moved to draft - Draft:Anchil Oral Arjunan).
Also, can you find this source? The link seems dead here. The wording of the source is "Pooja is the heroine of Dileep in Don. The Bangalore based Pooja had made her debut in Tamil with Jay Jay and later she did films like Attagasam, Thambi and the" --DareshMohan (talk) 00:53, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you couldn't find it, I seriously doubt I can (tried and failed). I hope you are using archive.is as well to search for archives. Are you using this as well? I can help you for 2000 reviews if you have difficulty. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:28, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just tried archive.is (didn't work). For film reviews, yup I use Chennai Online, Webindia123 and BizHat. DareshMohan (talk) 08:33, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Don, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Liz Read! Soundtrack infoboxes

Hi, please see WP:FILMSCORE as the link you gave Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Backlog elimination drive: Album covers is for the removal of cover images from the infobox album not the removal of the infobox album. The infobox album is included im many featured and good articles such as Hoodwinked! and Blues Brothers (film) so can you please revert your removal of the infoboxes unless you can point to a directive for removing them, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 17:49, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your file renames

Hello, Kailash. One of your actions using movefile came to my attention due to this G6 CSD nomination. That tag came following a move from File:Moonfall2022Poster.jpg to File:Moonfall film poster.jpg with the summary "Spaces". As you are probably aware, as a filemover you need to carry out moves pursuant to the file renaming criteria, but your aforementioned move explicitly fell under the examples of files that should not be renamed. Other examples of unnecessary moves include 129837205, 129767852, 129737035 (the log summary appears misleading), 129726049 etc from the last few days.

I appreciate that after holding filemover for four-and-a-half years, being told that your moves have been inappropriate is unpleasant. However, it is important to move files only when it is necessary. Please follow the renaming criteria in the future. Sdrqaz (talk) 20:56, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll stop for the time being. If only I had PageMover rights with the option to NOT leave redirects... But I was rejected multiple times, and how should my request be? Kailash29792 (talk) 02:59, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Kailash, while what Fastily said is worth thinking about, whether a redirect is left behind and the moves themselves are separate issues. Having extendedmover is not relevant; it is the renames you are carrying out as a filemover that I am concerned about. Sdrqaz (talk) 11:08, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
