Email.

Hello, professor. On my discussion page, the user Kedr 26 left a message that he sent me 2 email messages. But no matter how much I click on it, it doesn't open. Noraskulk (talk) 11:22, 9 April 2021 (UTC).[reply]

Noraskulk, I am unsure how I can help, since the issue seems to be related to a private email you received and that I have no way of seeing? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:38, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. How do I open it? Noraskulk (talk) 06:17, 14 April 2021 (UTC).[reply]

W6 Weekly edits

Dear professor,

I've done weekly 10 edits. I was focusing on editing an Oatly article :) You can see what I've done here! Thanks :)

SangminChoe (talk) 05:58, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SangminChoe, Good job wikilinking your contributions page :) For your edits about Oatly IPO, I suggest adding a date - when did this happen? Keep up the good job! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:23, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
SangminChoe, There's no information about IPO date yet. So If they announce the data, I will add it :) SangminChoe (talk) 07:31, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
SangminChoe, I see - good explanation! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:45, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Finished Weekly Edit (Kim Yoon/User name: BBam BBam)

Hello, professor! I finished weekly edits. The link is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/BBamBBam Did I edit correctly? Thank you :) --BBamBBam (talk) 09:01, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

BBamBBam, Unfortunately, not exactly as at least half of your weekly edits should be to English Wikipedia. Yet you have not edited English Wikipedia topics since March 28 (Yeosu Expo station). I do see you make edits to Korean Wikipedia ([1]), they are good, but remember the English editing part too. Please catch up on edits in English soon! Good luck, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:29, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see. Then did I do it right now? --BBamBBam (talk) 07:28, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
BBamBBam, Some but not all. Please see: [2] (see edit summary) and this. When you add a reference, please format it properly. Try it in the next weeks edits - good luck! Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:39, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Greetings of the day! Sir, The subject arcticle is nominated for deletion but there are sources which are sufficient to save the same. Kindly go through the revised version and reconsider your vote. Thanks and warm regards RV (talk) 07:53, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

RAJIVVASUDEV, Which sources? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:03, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sir, I am obliged for your prompt reply, here is one of them3[1] and I have edited and added some sources on the article. ThanksRV (talk) 08:10, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sir, Adding few more sources as per your guidance. Text on page -89-Ninon is a French derivation from the name Anne although it is not known how this fabric got its name. It is a smooth, crisp, thin, lightweight fabric originally made from very fine, highly twisted silk yarns with two or three threads weaving as one in the warp and the weft. These were known as double or single ninons. The finest single ninon is now more common. In general ninon is heavier and not as soft as chiffon and is used for scarves, dresses and curtains. Ninon is now also made from man-made fibers and a ninon voile is a term used in the United Kingdom for a cotton voile made to imitate ninon.4[2]. The other one, Page -59-

A sheer fabric made from fine twisted yarns and frequently used for close curtains. Although originally made from silk, ninon is now usually acetate, nylon or Terylene. Nylon ninon would normally be used only as dress, lingerie or blouse fabrics. For laundering nylon ninon wash as for delicate nylon and with Terylene ninon launder as for fine Terylene.5[3]. And 6[4]. There are many more like Ninon : A soft sheer plain weave made of fine yarns , usually nylon the structure is very open mesh. It is mentioned on page 207[5] 8 Page 94, 92[6]. Commonly used in curtains . Page 2059[7]. Thanks and best regards RV (talk) 09:30, 13 April 2021 (UTC).Thanks and best regards RV (talk) 03:36, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Professor Piotrus, Hello ! Should we find more sources to prove the verifiability of the subject or is it sufficient for now. Kindly see and advise to rescue the same. Thanks and best regards RV (talk) 03:01, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus. Hi ! This a gentle reminder, in case you missed it. Thanks and warm regardsRV (talk) 04:04, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for considering the same. Best regards RV (talk) 04:45, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, professor! I've also finished weekly edits this week. Please check my edits. Also, could you check if I have done all the weekly edits until week 7? Thank you so much :) Kyokyoyaaaaa talk💬 14:02, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I finished the assignment for week 7 -WANG XIAOLING

Hello, Professor, I am Wang Xiaoling from the collective intelligence. I completed the assignment of editing Wikipedia 10 times a week. And I edited the extra credits more than 30 times. Edited more than 40 times in total. English Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Song_Yi_(actress).

Chinese Wikipedia: https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%AE%8B%E8%BD%B6

In addition, I completed the translation of the article about Zhao Lixin to English Wikipedia(The extra credit assignment assigned by the professor last time). Please check the assignment. Thank you very much, have a good dream. WANG XIAOLING995 15:04, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WANG XIAOLING995, Excellent job, you are on a perfect track to get A+ in the course. And I hope you are enjoying learning valuable wiki skills :) To complete the article on Zhao Lixin, please add his Chinese name 赵立新 to the article using the lang-zh template, and then add a WP:INTERWIKI link to connect his English article to the Chinese one. Also, can you discuss in the article the controversy mentioned in Zheng_Shuang_(actress,_born_1991) related to Secret Keepers? "The postponement was due to a general blacklist by the state regulators on a co-actor, Zhao Lixin and that the production team had to edit Zhao out from the drama.". It seems quite interesting. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:52, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Piotrus,Hello professor, first of all thank you very much!^^ And Finished the article on Zhao Lixin added the Chinese name and add a link to connect his English article to the Chinese one. Also, I have discussed in Zheng_Shuang_(actress,_born_1991)’s article. This is the link: 11. Thank you! WANG XIAOLING995 04:34, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Questions about main project / Jisoo Jung, Suyoung Han

Hello professor! We are jisoo Jung and Suyoung Han. We have questions while editing the article, so we leave a message to the professor.

1. Question on editing child abuse

While translating a child abuse article, we found out that there were a lot of US-related content (e.g. related organizations/protective measures/background, etc.) because it was an English wiki encyclopedia. We are wondering which of the following methods should be used for the ambiguity: 1) Just translate English Wikipedia 2) Write the relevant part as data on the Korean situation related to the Korean Wikipedia

2. Question about 'Autumn Uprising of 1946'

We've almost finished editing for 'Autumn Uprising of 1946.' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Swamming/Autumn_Uprising_of_1946) Please check and give us feedback on parts that need improvement.

Thanks for reading our questions! Please check our questions --Newuser04 (talk) 06:24, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Newuser04, Regarding your question 1. It's a very acute observation, related to the problem of WP:Systemic bias. Wikipedia coverage should be international, but it is too often biased. The best solution is to expand both articles with information about Korea (you will get extra credit for expanding the English article). Regarding 2, the article looks very good - please make sure to add references to all paragraphs. You should also add English title using the 'translated title' parameter to your Korean references (and '한국전쟁 전 대구경북지역의 민간인학살사건의 실태와 특징 - 제4대국회「양민학살사건진상조사보고서」의 기록을 중심으로' has only the English title - it needs Korean too). The reference '10월인민항쟁연구. 열음사' is missing a link. Is it a book? If so it needs ISBN number and page number. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:23, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deadline 4 (Week 5) - Jung a Byeon

Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/사용자:Byeon_jung_a/연습장?redirect=no I completed my fourth assignment. For now, I have accomplished this much of my article and I am going to make it more and more perfect in the future. --Byeon jung a (talk) 11:43, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Byeon jung a, It's an early draft, but you are progressing in the right direction. Please try to flesh it out soon. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:26, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LU BINGNAN 노빛나학생

Professor, I'm sorry to have entered Wikipedia so late and only started to learn how to expand the entry line. At the beginning of the semester, I didn't get any mail from my fellow students who studied at Wikipedia until I finished not only on LMS, but also on Wikipedia.I chose https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etiquette_in_South_Korea among the choices you gave me. This is to expand the English article, I hope to get your approval, and I will try to make up all the supplementary assignments of previous entries, I hope the professor can give me a chance!I'll make up for what was before. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etiquette_in_South_Korea LUBINGNAN

Dear Lu Bingan. I asked you above twice to complete deadline one, Wikipedia:Training/For students. I still see no indication you have done so, as you are still not signing your posts correctly. Regarding your chosen project, at this stage, I do not feel confident it would be an easy task for you to expand this article in English. Instead, please translate it to Chinese and Korean (or just Chinese, and you can chose another topic to translate if you don't want to do Korean translation), it should be an easier task that will still count for your main project. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:30, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello professor Piotr!

Hello, professor! I was working on Wikipedia editing and saw that all my edits to VIPS had been reversed. Do I have to edit as many other edits as this number of back? And please tell me if I'm doing a good job in editing Wikipedia. Thank you always.--Somsorosomsom (talk) 09:07, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Somsorosomsom, Please see the discussion at User_talk:Somsorosomsom#April_2021 and tell me if you understand why your content was (partially) removed. It's a good learning opportunity. If you understand what happened, please try to add content to that article that will not be removed. Good luck! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:27, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please check my week7 assignments - PARK CHAEJEONG

Hello, professor Piotrus. I finished writing week7 blog (+ Also, I wrote a new article about my experience and feelings that related to copyright), and I edited Wikipedia. Can you check if I did all fine editing Wikipedia until week 7? Please let me know if there's anything missing. Thank you :) Have a nice day! Pkccccj 11:13, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pkccccj, Good job with your new blog! Your edits are good too, including images. For [12], please move references form the heading into the text itself. References should not be placed in the heading. This is correct way to do it. Keep up your efforts, you are doing well! DYK for Shinan ship

On 18 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Shinan ship, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Shinan shipwreck, the first major discovery of Korean maritime archaeology, has been described as possibly "the richest ancient shipwreck yet discovered"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Shinan ship. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Shinan ship), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
