Thank you for registering! We hope that you find collaborative editing enjoyable. Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that started in 2001, is free for all to use and edit within the guidelines and principles users have established and adhere to. Many of these principles and guidelines are listed below. Click on the link next to the images for more information. REMEMBER - each policy and guideline page has a discussion you can join to ask questions, add input and contribute your voice towards any current policy or guideline change underway! Join the discussion by going to the talk page of the article. Please take a minute to view a number of quick start pages for an overview of how to work within these guidelines and more information to help you better understand the practices and procedures editors are using. These include: The Newcomers Manual and User:Persian Poet Gal/"How-To" Guide to Wikipedia.

Sometimes new editors become frustrated quickly and find their experience on Wikipedia less than enjoyable. This need not be. If you are having a difficult time for any reason, please feel free to ask me for assistance! Or, better yet, visit The Teahouse where veteran editors are waiting to assist you.

Response at Talk:List of birds of New Jersey

I've responded to your idea at Talk:List of birds of New Jersey#Pictures of Birds in NJ. Thanks.  SchreiberBike | ⌨  19:58, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey  SchreiberBike | ⌨  I saw that and I'm happy to provide you the pictures we took of the birds. The only conditions my father wants in exchange for the image is that 1) he gets full credit and 2) if possible he would like his watermark to stay on it (this is not compulsory). I can upload them to my Wikimedia account when you are ready. --Have a great day :) , Sanjev Rajaram (talk) 23:50, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your Optional RfA candidate poll entry

Hello. I am writing to you about your entry: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Optional RfA candidate poll#Sanjev Rajaram: February, 2017. You added it with this edit. Your paragraph statement starting "... Yo yo Sanjev here and I'm running for adminship...." included code to make it invisible. Was that your intention? Would you like your statement to be visible or invisible?

Best wishes,

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 21:26, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka

Dear Sanjev Rajaram,

Thank you for your contributions to the Wikimedia Projects. As a Sri Lankan editor, you are warmly invited to join the official Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka and to subscribe to its mailing list, Wikimedia-LK.

The user group currently includes volunteers from Wikipedia and other projects, from the English, Sinhala, and Tamil speaking communities. It is the Wikimedia-approved platform for editors from Sri Lanka to enable wider collaboration, for both online and offline projects.

With your support, we hope to organize cross-project content improvement drives as part of online projects, as well as organize in-person edit-a-thons, training sessions, photowalks, and other such activities, in the near future. The ultimate goal(s) of these initiatives is to improve the overall coverage and quality of topics relating to Sri Lanka, as well as encourage new editors to join the Wikimedia community, while simultaneously empowering and retaining our existing team of editors.

There are no mandatory obligations for members who choose join the community, other than the usual editing rules for online projects, and the friendly space policy for in-person projects. You may also (or instead) subscribe to the mailing list, where any member could initiate discussions with volunteers across projects, notify members of events and meetings, stay up to date with competitions, organize your own events, and so on.

See you on board, and Happy Editing!

@Rehman: Thanks for the invite. I'll help anyway out with this project if I can. --Have a great day , Sanjev Rajaram (talk) 12:42, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Sanjev Rajaram. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors. With this edit left on a user's talk page you pinged me and wrote "You ought to stop leave false warnings on user talk pages else you'll be the one who's reported under the guidelines of Wikipedia:Harrassment. I looked over the edits from this user and there is no vandalism rather a source that may not be noteworthy (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ron_Joyce&type=revision&diff=818540915&oldid=818535512) but no vandalism. If you do this again I'll report you to an administrator". I tagged that editor's page after that editor made this edit which attacked a BLP with text which included "You cheap arse. You are the problem with the world today. Greedy bastards. Rot Ron. Goof." Please double check your facts before threatening other editors, and assume good faith. Thank you.
