Description

A task force of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television dedicated to the science fiction series Fringe. Will be modeled after this. Ruby 2010/2013 04:00, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of important pages and categories for this proposed group
List of WikiProjects currently on the talk pages of those articles
Please invite these and any other similar groups to join the discussion about this proposal. See Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Directory to find similar WikiProjects.
Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
I feel that a Fringe task force would help keep all Fringe-related articles organized and structured, and would also help encourage editors to maintain/begin contributing to them. WikiProject Television just doesn't give the same inspiration as a taskforce specifically tailored for the series. There are over 100 articles available for editing. Support

Please specify whether or not you would join the project.

  1. Ruby 2010/2013 04:00, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Unlikely to join myself, but it clearly would already be responsibly helmed by an experienced editor. Well-defined scope and a solid set of GA-class articles to set a standard for other potential members. GRAPPLE X 04:21, 1 February 2012 (UTC) For what it's worth, I've gotten into this series since making this post and now feel I probably would get involved in such a task force, if that consideration makes any difference. GRAPPLE X 23:53, 6 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  3. I enjoy the show, but I probably won't contribute to this. Do you have any ideas as to who else you'd bring on board? Sven Manguard Wha? 15:00, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I've asked a few others, but have received no response. If this proposal fails to receive any more supports, I'll probably just scrap it. :/ Ruby 2010/2013 03:29, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

I just wanted to express my appreciation for the great group of editors who posted here. I would be happy to put together a task force in the upcoming weeks (probably the week after next- end of semester ticking down). In the meantime, if anyone has ideas for the task force, or knows of any other editors who might be interested, feel free to add comments below. Thanks! I think this is the start of a great undertaking. Ruby 2010/2013 03:25, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
