11 Comae Berenices (11 Com) is an orange giant K0 III star in the constellation of Coma Berenices, located in the sky, east and slightly north of Denebola in Leo, but not nearly as far east as Vindemiatrix in Virgo. Its apparent magnitude is 4.74.

11 Com is a low metallicity star with an iron abundance about half that of the Sun.[2]

11 Com. has a substellar companion with about 19.4 Jupiter masses orbiting at about 1.3 AU around it, well within the range of deuterium burning brown dwarfs.[3][4]
