The 1960 NCAA Skiing Championships were contested at the Bridger Bowl Ski Area near Bozeman, Montana at the 7th annual NCAA-sanctioned ski tournament to determine the individual and team national champions of men's collegiate alpine, cross country skiing, and ski jumping in the United States.[1] Montana State College served as the hosts.
Colorado, coached by Bob Beattie, captured their second straight national championship, once again edging out rivals Denver in the team standings. This was the second title for the Buffaloes.
Venue
This year's championships were contested at the Bridger Bowl Ski Area in Gallatin County, Montana, near the city of Bozeman. Montana State College, located in Bozeman, served as hosts.
This was the first time that Bridger Bowl, as well as the state of Montana, hosted the NCAA championships.
