Kulva is a village in Jonava district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village has a population of 378 people.[1]
History
In 1382 Kulva first time mentioned in written sources.[2]
In 16th century the first wooden church was built. By 1650 it was replaced by brick building. In 1782 church expansion works was completed.
Education
Famous villagers
- Abraomas Kulvietis, jurist and a professor at Königsberg Albertina University, as well as a reformer of the church.
