"Rumors" is a 1986 song by San Francisco Bay Area-based music group Timex Social Club, from their debut album Vicious Rumors. It was a hit in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, reaching No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 13 in the UK, in addition to topping the US R&B and dance charts.[2]
