Kattakkada Assembly Constituency is one of the divisions of Kerala Legislative Assembly within the Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala.[1][2][3] Major communities living there are Nadars (40,000) and Nairs (55,000).[4] As of the 2016 assembly elections, the current MLA is I. B. Satheesh of CPI(M).
