Girls' Generation "The Best Live" at Tokyo Dome is the concert by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation to commemorate their fourth anniversary debut in Japan. It gathered an audience of more than 55,000.[1] This is the first concert without former member Jessica Jung, who left the group on September 30, 2014.[2]

History

It was announced on August 25, 2014, by SM Entertainment that Girls' Generation will hold a concert commemorating their fourth anniversary debut in Japan at Tokyo Dome.[3] This make Girls’ Generation became second K-pop girl group after KARA to hold a concert there. Furthermore, Girls’ Generation is also the first foreign girl group to sold out 100% ticket in Tokyo Dome.

The concert was filmed by TV media WOWOW and aired on December 28, 2014.[4]

Girls' Generation "The Best Live" at Tokyo Dome was released on 1 April 2015 on DVD and Blu-ray, it is the eleventh release from Girls' Generation.[5] Both versions included live footage and a 100-page photobook.
