Kalateh Rudbar (Template:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Kalāteh Rūdbār; formerly, Kalateh (Template:Lang-fa), also Romanized as Kalāteh)^[3] is a city in the Central District of Damghan County, Semnan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 10,117 in 2,690 households, when it was a village in Rudbar Rural District.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 11,963 people in 3,394 households.^[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 13,659 people in 4,105 households,^[2] by which time the village of Kalateh had been renamed Kalateh Rudbar and elevated to the status of a city.^[6]
