Malekabad (Persian: ملكاباد, also Romanized as Malekābād, Malakābād, and Malkābād)[3] is a village in Masumiyeh Rural District of Masumiyeh District, Arak County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,440 in 673 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,469 people in 748 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Masumiyeh District.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,536 people in 800 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
