Tavalli (Persian: تولي, also Romanized as Tavallī; also known as Tavallā, Tavalleh, and Tawalla)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Kuh Sefid Rural District of the Central District of Kuhsorkh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

History

As per the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,181 in 328 households, when it was in Barkuh Rural District of the former Kuhsorkh District of Kashmar County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,055 people in 338 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 965 people in 334 households.[2]

Kuhsorkh District was separated from Kashmar County in 2018 to become Kuhsorkh County and divided into two districts and four rural districts, with Rivash as its capital and only city. Kuh Sefid Rural District was established in the newly formed Central District.[6]
