Kuhestani-ye Talesh Rural District (Template:Lang-fa)[3] is in the Central District of Talesh County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,479 in 1,512 households.[4] There were 5,914 inhabitants in 1,594 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,482 in 2,254 households. The largest of its 64 villages was Kashtami, with 603 people.[2]
