Hoseynabad (Persian: حسين اباد, also Romanized as Ḩoseynābād and Hosein Abad)[3] is a village in Kuhsar Rural District of Qarah Kahriz District, Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 482 in 112 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 411 people in 128 households,[5] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Qarah Kahriz District. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 400 people in 133 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
