Liaobei (Wade-Giles: Liaopei) also known as Liaopeh was a province in Manchuria, in what is now the People's Republic of China. It mostly covered territory which is now in Inner Mongolia. The capital of Liaobei was Liaoyuan City (present-day Shuangliao, Jilin).[1]
