WAES (88.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Variety format. Licensed to Lincolnshire, Illinois, United States. The station is currently owned by Adlai E. Stevenson Hs Dist. 125.[1][2] It is local to Adlai E. Stevenson High School.[3]
Locally, the high school radio station is known as the "Stevenson Patriot Radio," a name inclusive of both the school's name and mascot.[4] The radio station can be tuned into from most southern Lake County locales;[5] the station itself is run by students of the high school.[6]
