Toguz-Toro is a raion (district) of Jalal-Abad Region in western Kyrgyzstan. The capital lies at Kazarman.[1] Its area is 3,816 square kilometres (1,473 sq mi), and its resident population was 22,136 in 2009.[2]

Rural communities and villages

In total, Toguz-Toro District includes 13 settlements in 5 rural communities (aiyl okmotus). Each rural community can consist of one or several villages. The rural communities and settlements in the Toguz-Toro District are:[3]

  1. Atay aiyl okmotu (2: center - village: Atay; and also village Imeni Karla Marksa)
  2. Kok-Irim aiyl okmotu (2: center - village: Aral; and also village Birdik)
  3. Kargalyk aiyl okmotu (3: center - village: Kazarman; and also villages Makmal and Chet-Bulak)
  4. Sary-Bulun okmotu (2: center - village: Kara-Suu; and also village Tabylgyty)
  5. Toguz-Toro okmotu (4: center - village: Dedemel; and also villages Kosh-Bulak Imeni Lenina, and Ornek)
