Cameby is a locality in the Western Downs Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Cameby had a population of 56 people.[1]

Geography

There is an identified thermal coal resource area known as Davies Road (26°36′07″S 150°25′08″E / 26.602°S 150.419°E / -26.602; 150.419 (Davies Road (coal reserve))) with reserves estimated at 49.4 megatonnes (48,600,000 long tons; 54,500,000 short tons) within the locality.[3]
