Ricks Township is one of seventeen townships in Christian County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,223 and it contained 537 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.99 square miles (93.2 km2), of which 35.97 square miles (93.2 km2) (or 99.94%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.06%) is water.[2]
