Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Film (Bengali: জাতীয় চলচ্চিত্র পুরস্কার শ্রেষ্ঠ চলচ্চিত্র) is the highest award for films in Bangladesh. Lathial, produced and directed by Narayan Ghosh Mita, won the first National Film Awards for Best Film in 1975.[1]
