Stebin Ben (born 9 March 1993) is an Indian singer and performer.[1][2] He has given voice for films, Shimla Mirchi (2020)[3], Hotel Mumbai (2019)[4], TV series, Class of 2017 and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.[5] He also sung singles, Rula Ke Gaya Ishq (2019)[6] and Mera Mehboob (2019)[7], released by Zee Music Company and Sony Music India.

Career

Ben began his music career by singing covers of songs like Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hain (from Venus Music), Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein, Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai and Chupana Bhi Nahi Aata. He made debut in playback singing with 2017 Hindi web series, Class of 2017 and lent his voice for Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.[5] In 2015, Ben did his debut single with T-Series Single, Zindagi, which was composed by Vicky-Hardik. He did a cover of Ye Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai, featuring Niti Taylor, received over 6 million views on YouTube.[8] Also, he has sung a cover version of Selfish from Race 3.[1] In May 2018, he collaborated with actress Sara Khan for his song, Lekin Woh Mera Ishq Hai, where music was given by Vicky-Hardik.[9]

In 2019, he made his film debut in playback singing with the song Humein Bharat Kehte Hain in the film Hotel Mumbai[4], followed Ishq Di Feeling for 2020 film Shimla Mirchi, composed by Meet Bros.[3]

He has done more than 150 shows in 2018, which includes 2 times Africa tour, America tour, and also shows in Dubai and all across India.[10]

Awards & recognition

In September 2018, he was awarded Best Bollywood Artist of the year at India Nightlife Awards 2018.[10][2][11] He is the winner of T-Series StageWorks's singing contest The Stage in 2016.[12] In October 2014, Stebin Ben won the Best Performance Award at MTV Asia's Project Aloft Star India (season 1).[13][14]
