State Assembly (Il Tymen) is the name for the unicameral legislature of the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is a legal successor of the Supreme Council of the Sakha Republic.[1]

The State Assembly comprises seventy deputies who are elected for five-year terms. The majority of its members are from United Russia, the dominant political party of Russia as a whole. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation is the only significant opposition.
