Vipin Sharma is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema. He is an alumnus of National School of Drama, New Delhi, India and the Canadian Film Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[1][2][3][4] In Taare Zameen Par (2007), written by Amole Gupte and directed by Aamir Khan, he played the role of a dyslexic child's father. [4][5][6] He was last seen in the web series Patal Lok in 2020 in Amazon Prime.

Personal life

Sharma spend his early childhood in a slum in Delhi.[7] Though he was interested into acting from his early days, he got interested in theater, after listening to radio talk of the great legend Sanjeev Kumar. He joined a small Punjabi theater group to perform various odd jobs in Delhi, e.g. selling tickets or serving teas.[citation needed]

He graduated from the National School of Drama, India in 1983.[8]
