Chagallu mandal is one of the 46 mandals in West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is administered under Eluru revenue division and its headquarters are located at Chagallu.[2] The mandal is bounded by Kovvur, Nidadavole and Devarapalle mandals.[3]

As of 2011 census, the mandal has 12 settlements. Chagallu is the most populated and Nandigampadu is the least populated village in the mandal.[4]
