Hollywood Without Make-Up is a 1963 American film produced by Ken Murray and directed by Rudy Behlmer, Loring d'Usseau, and Ken Murray (uncredited).[citation needed]

Plot

The film consists of archive footage of famous Hollywood stars, mostly home movies by Ken Murray, showing the stars as themselves instead of playing a role in front of the camera. Captivating footage of Hearst Castle with William Randolph Heart and family. The Heart Castle footage includes the now non-existent zoo which included many species of wild animals. The film makers daughters were able to go on set with Walt Disney. Fred McMurray was shooting the movie "Flubber". Tom Mix can be seen driving the automobile he was killed in only 2 weeks later in Arizona. (1937 Cord 812 Phaeton) Candid images abound from Mary Pickford to Lucille Ball and Rory Calhoun. The last images of the film feature Marilyn Monroe who passed August 5,1962.
