Bulpitt is a village in Christian County, Illinois, United States. The population was 222 at the 2010 census.

According to the 2010 census, Bulpitt has a total area of 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2), all land.[4]

As of the census[6] of 2000, there were 206 people, 96 households, and 60 families residing in the village. The population density was 2,908.9 people per square mile (1,136.2/km2). There were 103 housing units at an average density of 1,454.5 per square mile (568.1/km2). All residents are white.

There were 96 households, out of which 15.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.8% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% were non-families. 35.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 20.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.15 and the average family size was 2.70.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 19.9% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 26.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females, there were 82.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 75.5 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $29,861, and the median income for a family was $35,000. Males had a median income of $32,813 versus $19,286 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,807. About 7.7% of families and 8.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including none of those under the age of eighteen and 6.0% of those 65 or over.

Prior to the Great Frog Infestation of 1875, Bulpitt was known as Hog Waller.
