Mailapur, is a village in Yadgir [Devaraj ] taluk of Yadgir district in Karnataka state, India. Mailapur is a holy place. Sri Mailaralingeshwara Temple is located in the village. Mailapur village is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) east of Yadgir. It is religious place of lakhs of devotees.in this village they celebrate two jatras per year namely as deepavali and makara sankramana . and here we can see some historic places ,holy some stories ,some different cultures .
