Basaunavillage in Kahra block of Saharsa district of Koshi Commissionary of Mithila region of Bihar, India. It is at a distance of 6 km from the district headquarters.Neighbouring villages are Dholi, Chainpur, Bharauli, Amarpur, Parminia, Siradeh, Dighia, Parari, and Bangaon.
