The Boy Tour was a concert tour by Irish rock band U2. Staged in support of their debut album Boy (1980), the tour visited small clubs from 1980–1981. Comprising five legs and 157 concerts, the tour began on 6 September 1980 in Coventry, England, and ended on 9 June 1981 in London, England. It was U2's first tour of continental Europe and North America.

Setlist

The setlist varied each night throughout the tour, with all songs from Boy being performed with the exception of "Shadows and Tall Trees". Content from U2 3 was played, as were "11 O'Clock Tick Tock", "Touch", and "Things to Make and Do". Towards the end of the tour, songs from the upcoming October were played, including "Fire" and "I Fall Down". "The Ocean", "11 O'Clock Tick Tock", and "I Will Follow" were often played twice due to the band's small catalogue at the time. Most shows began with "The Ocean" and closed with "11 O'Clock Tick Tock". Three unreleased songs, "Father is an Elephant", "Carry Me Home" and "The Cry" were also performed. Throughout the tour, Bono would include snippets of other songs not recorded by U2 - "Send in the Clowns" was often tagged onto the end of "The Electric Co."
