1761 English cricket season
The 1761 English cricket season was the 18th season following the earliest known codification of the Laws of Cricket. Details have survived of four eleven-a-side matches between significant teams.

- 27 June - Essex v Kent - Billericay
- 1 July - Chertsey v Dartford - Laleham Burway
- 31 August - Richmond v Chertsey - Richmond Green
- 28 September - Chertsey v Hampton - Laleham Burway
Other events
George Smith, who had been the keeper of the Artillery Ground in London, died at Marlborough in June.[3]
The first match known to have taken place in the Leeds area was reported by the Leeds Intelligencer in July.
