The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) operates four national radio networks, over 50 local radio stations,[1] the international service ABC Radio Australia and several digital stations. Most of the stations, as well as podcasts, are available on the ABC Listen app,[2] and ten radio stations are available via the ABC Television.[3]

  • Triple J – youth-targeted music, news and entertainment (since 1975)
  • ABC Classicclassical music, the ABC's first entirely FM radio network (formerly ABC Classic FM, since 1976)
  • ABC NewsRadio – parliamentary broadcasts and rolling news (since 1994)

  1. ^ a b The ABC's Annual Report 2018, Volume I mentions Capital City Local Radio from all 8 capital cities and Regional Local Radio from 48 regional locations. According to Volume II there are 45 regional stations, of which ABC Northern Tasmania and ABC Kimberley each have 2 locations, plus a reporter in Nowra (thus 48 locations). According to this map from April 2019 there are also news bureaus in Ipswich, Parramatta and Geelong (thus 59 locations altogether).
