Astara County (Persian: شهرستان آستارا) is a county in Gilan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Astara. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 79,416, in 20,725 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Lavandevil District. The county has two cities: Astara and Lavandevil.
