Bara is a village in Ghazipur District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The village is famous all over India because here live rich persons and high officers of government.[citation needed] The village has a halt station also known as Barakalan halt. Village bypass a national highway also tourist place ganga,Here is ganga and Karamnasa river adjunction which divide U.p. and Bihar etc.

Muslims represent 70% of the residents. Here all religions are live together. The village has a cricket and football team named BFC.

In the village is an English medium school IQRA model school and a bara inter college.
