Bihar Legislative Assembly election 1990
Bihar Legislative Assembly election, 1990 was held in 1990 to elect members to the Bihar Legislative Assembly .[1] Riding on a pan-India Victory of 1989 during V. P. Singh 's wave, the Janta Dal got decisive victory in the state, political manuovres ensured parliamentarian Lalu Prasad Yadav 's victory in the chief ministership battle against [2] seasoned Bihar leader Ram Sundar Das who was close to janta party stalwarts like S.N. Sinha and Chandrashekhar.
