Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with Marija Šestić performing "Rijeka bez imena" ("River without a name") written and composed by Aleksandra Milutinović and Goran Kovačić. It was internally selected as the country's entry by the national broadcaster, BHRT. Bosnia and Herzegovina was placed 11th.

Marija Šestić was born on 5 May 1987 in Banja Luka. She has had a very impressive career, despite her young age. Most notably, she has achieved top results in domestic festivals and also had the chance to be the first artist from the former Yugoslavia to appear on MTV Europe. Marija attempted to reach Eurovision in 2005 with the song "In This World", finishing in a respectable fourth place at the national final.

Marija Šestić opened the final in Helsinki on 12 May. She finished on an 11th position with 106 points.

The English version of this song is entitled "Never Wake Me Up". The Bosnian motto for the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest was Sound of Rivers.[1]
