Why "Baseball Venues" instead of "Baseball Parks"?[edit]

"Baseball Venue" is kind of an awkward term compared to "Baseball Park". Why are we using it? "Baseball Venue" doesn't even have a Wikipedia article. Are there any venues listed here that are not parks? Jason Quinn (talk) 15:06, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed new subcategory[edit]

I propose a new subcategory, Baseball venues in the United States by state for consistency with categories Baseball teams/leagues in the United States by state and American baseball players by state. Also, this would separate all of the state-delimited baseball venue categories from the broader organization-delimited ones, such as Major league baseball venues, which would remain here.
