Foreign policy matter?[edit]

This is not a foreign policy matter per se. Some cases (like the Letelier case - which has been duly linked) may affect relations between countries, but most do not. This category should not be linked to Chilean Foreign Policy. Mel Romero (talk) 22:59, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it's appropriate to have Category:Foreign relations of Chile as a parent category of this category. When a national of a country gets murdered in another country, it's not uncommon for that event to somehow affect or be affected by the foreign relations between the two countries. These people imprisoned/murdered abroad categories across all countries/nationalities have long been included in the foreign relations categories. (I created this one and many others, but I followed the pattern in including it in foreign relations that I saw in the others that already existed.) In my opinion it's more a question of standardization across category structure than an assessment of individual Chilean cases. Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:01, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
